I'm about to start UX|UI as a professional career but I've been on the user experience's path for years now. After having managed retail stores in the UK as well as Germany, I switched to working with startups. First creating and designing tailored digital events I then moved to managing a coworking space filled with early-stage founders. With 3 friends, we then decided it was time to build our own business, a mobile app for parents called Storykids. Parents could upload up to 30 pictures of their child(ren) each month. At the end of the month we printed them in a beautiful album and sent it to the grandparents. It was now February 2020. I had been working for over 10 years non-stop. It was time to refocus. That's when I made the decision to enroll in the CareerFoundry UX Design Program. It's now August 2020 and I could not be more excited to join a team and solve problems together!
